This is the second Character Design from a new property that I am developing.

I used Alchemy and Corel PhotoPaint to create it.

The mood was inspired by World War II Tank Battles. Where metal is painted green but the paint has almost been scraped off entirely due to massive long lasting battles and altercations. Due to the comments on the first version of this illustration regarding what looked like wings but not intentionally, (Explanation in the first post) I did add wings to this version so I can satisfy the viewers and my curiosity of how the character would look. I think the result is quite pleasing.
This image is a character design, which I created for my new book. It is also my first trial on using Painter in conjunction with Photo Paint, which is the main software I have been using. I also submitted the original version for the EXPOSE book. It took approximately 9 hours to create.
I have been a professional illustrator and fantasy painter for about fourteen years using traditional media. In the past few years I started incorporating digital illustrations in my portfolio.

This is one of my first ever digital illustrations back in 2000. It was originally used for the Audio CD Cover of "Hell Rules II - A Tribute To Black Sabbath". It ended up being one of my most popular pieces. It also has been used as a T-Shirt, Snowboard, Skateboard, Calendar and Poster. It was fully created in Corel Photo-Paint with no preliminary sketch.
